Why does customer service matter to you?


We live in a world where it is "all about me".  However, to succeed in a service industry, you must give consideration to the customer needs.  My book describes how to effectively work in a consultative environment, but i often seek out and comment on service in retail shops, restaurants and other venues.  Perhaps some of these stories will inspire the next book... or blog.

My Journey

Armed with a degree in Computer Science, the career began, delivering Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing solutions with a an aerospace subcontractor for 10 years. I am now engaged in business office support and Electronic Medical Record systems at a large healthcare provider for the last 14 years.


Most of my career has been spent in business operations, helping apply computer technology.  How, does one serve such diverse needs?  The common thread is a passion for customer service combined with my technical knowledge.  It has been a journey of adaptation, learning, communication and service.
